Les is sometimes a dragonshifter who ran away from wyr flock in the mountains to live a mundane life in the city, depending on the story. Sometimes they're just a guy. Wy has hoarding tendencies and collects everything from rocks to card decks to coins from different years. Wy is a coder, and is building a website that is slowly growing sentience, and the two have a tense relationship. In the dragonshifter AU, zhe eventually becomes a rockstar.
