Trouble In The Mushroom Kingdom (Super Mario Bros. AU)

This is a Super Mario Bros. fanstory inspired by B3313, the Super Mario 64 Beta Archive, and in general the weird liminal vibes that the Nintendo 64 gives off.

Astro, a luma travelling the Mushroom Kingdom, has noticed a strange amount of people have gone missing. The toad village surrounding the castle is practically a ghost town, and Astro decides to go into the castle to talk to the princess about what might be wrong. Little does she know, she has just become entrapped in the castle's corridors, and must find her way out.
